Dakota Memories

Upcoming are two public forums presenting fruits of the Dakota Memories Oral History Project, a landmark effort to collect the oral history of Germans from Russia. The programs are at 2:00 Sunday afternoons: 30 October in Wishek and 13 November in Gackle. These are sure to be grand gatherings! Go to the Germans from Russia Heritage Collection for details.

Ladbury Listing

Great news: word arrived last week that the Ladbury Church, near Sibley, has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places. More later on this, but it's cause for a celebration, and we should organize one!
