 This has been a favorite stop of ours for about twenty years. It has a nice ambience--lakeside, so it has a getaway feel, but near the town of Marion, so it also has that hometown cafe feel. Kathy is always hospitable, and she and Bob run a well-organized establishment with a menu that is good up and down. Italian food and fried chicken are the specialties, and the corn fritters are really fine.--TI 8/28/99
